Outreach
Missions is central to the church’s mandate to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth (Matt. 28:19–20), calling all people to come to Christ and worship our Triune God. Our outreach in our local community, nation, and across the globe reflects this top priority.
Our Missions Committee helps facilitate outreach through supporting long-term missionaries, church planters, and campus ministries while also sponsoring a short-term mission trip every other year. Fundraisers such as the annual Craft Fair and Spaghetti Dinner/Dessert Auction bring awareness and raise needed support. We pray for our missionaries in each of our Sunday Schools. Our current outreach support includes:
- Christ Presbyterian Church (Redeemer Kent Church Plant) — Pastor Jacob and Anginette Piland
- Western Reserve Presbyterian Church (Redeemer Church Plant) — Pastor Jason and Erika Piland
- David and Gloria Doty in Taiwan, serving with PMI
- Matt and Carly Chase in Chiba, Japan serving with MTW
- Elijah and Jessie Brook, church planting with MTW
- Scott and Ruth Hill in Cherokee, NC, serving with MTW
- Edrisa and Mariama Fabureh, serving with RUF Global
- Collin and Zury Jennings, serving with RUF Global
- Missionaries in sensitive locations
- Matt Bonner, serving with ELI in Asia
- Sean Martin, serving with 3 Timothy, training pastors abroad
- Austin and Riley Cassel and Cordy Wilson, serving with RUF at Kent State University
- Young Life serving throughout Northeast Ohio
