Community Groups
Once or twice monthly during the school year
As the body of Christ, we believe in encouraging connections between people of different ages and stages. Our Community Groups at Redeemer promote mutual encouragement and growth.
Community Groups supplement corporate worship by providing opportunities for people to grow together as a church family. Made up of small groups of Redeemer members and attenders, groups form at the end of each summer, last for one academic year, and meet either once or twice a month in homes around Hudson and beyond. While the primary goal is deepening our relationships with one another, time is set apart for structured discussion, and sharing food together is an important part of every group.
2026–2027 Community Groups
This year every group is studying Hebrews for You by Michael J. Kruger.

How do I join? Sign up on the appropriate sheet in the narthex. Groups are first come, first served and often fill quickly. If you are unable to attend church but know which group you would like to join, please email Pastor Nate Bower at nate.bower@redeemerohio.org. Your group contact will reach out about upcoming dates and details. If a group has reached capacity, you are free to choose a different one.
What kind of commitment am I making? Because your presence is beneficial to the whole group, you are asked to make participation a priority for the whole year. One way we serve one another is by bringing food to gatherings as we are able, at the direction of the host.
Can my children come? Most groups welcome children, and some arrange childcare. Elementary-age children and older can participate with the adults or play during discussion time. Talk with your group’s contact with any questions.
Community Groups at Redeemer are overseen by Mark Van Drunen and Pastor Nate Bower. For more information, please contact Pastor Nate Bower.
